Ribbon About a Bomb was an immersive show put on by the Exquisite Corpse Company in 2017. Filmed during the last days of its run on Governor's Island, this movie returns you to the hallways of the dilapidated house where the show took place. Join Frida Kahlo, Leonora Carrington, and Remedios Varo as they take you on a journey through memory, loss, and that almighty god, art. Watch the three cut open their wounds and unclasp their hearts in a surreal world of music and art installations and join them as they ask the important questions: What does it take to be a woman artist? What should you sacrifice for your art? Which tea is your favorite? Directed for the stage by Tess Howsam Directed for the screen by Andrea Lopez
